Stemming from the former Association of international companies, Fribourg international was born with the Club of reflections 1992, created in light of the important vote of December 6th of the same year, concerning the EEE.

Since then, Fribourg international has successively changed names: from Fribourg association of companies with international vocation, it decided to make its name more rapidly identifiable with Fribourg international, in 1997.
